OUT-WEST PHOTOGRAPHY

There is a a ton of construction going on not to far distant from our house. So one day I drove down there with my camera. I noticed they were not working down there so I found some guys loading some kind of sticks onto a trailer. So said “how’s it going?” They looked like americans and everything, but they acted kinda like they didn’t really know english. I said “Is it ok if I go down there and photograph the rigs?” Finially a guy who was watching and and not working pulled the smelly sig out of his mouth and said “You know what man?, that guy right over there, he’s the guy you want to talk to about that.” I thanked him for his help and proceeded to go talk to “that guy over there.” I said to him “Is it ok with you if I walk around…

G26 MotoBlog

Another year gone.  For G26 MotoBlog, this is the end of the second year of publication.  For me, this was not a big riding year. It was a great year as far as getting new toys goes, though, unless you take my wallet’s point of view…

Would you drink this?

Ethics Asylum

Bill Gates has drunk a glass of water made from human faeces, to showcase technology he said could provide clean water in the developing world.

The Microsoft founder said he wanted to begin sending processing plants around the world after tests later this year.

The project was welcomed by WaterAid, which said that it could particularly help in urban areas.

According to the charity, some 748 million people worldwide lack clean drinking water.

In a video posted on his blog, Mr Gates watched as the human waste was fed into the processor, before drinking the end product from a glass.

‘Sewer sludge’

“The water tasted as good as any I’ve had out of a bottle. And having studied the engineering behind it, I would happily drink it every day. It’s that safe,” he wrote in the blogpost.

In the video, the developer of the Omniprocessor system, Peter Janicki, says the…
