How to Save Your Home from Foundation Erosion

Owning a home requires a lot of work and maintenance. It requires both time and monetary investment, but it’s worth it when you get to enjoy a place of your own. Given all of the hard work you put into your home, the last thing you want to have to deal with is foundation erosion.

Erosion occurs when the construction groundwork of a home is washed away over time.  Foundation erosion is a common home problem when rainwater from the roof of the house is not properly directed by your home’s rain gutters away from the home. If not redirected properly, rainwater collects in the ground beneath your house, which leads to cracking and other home foundation issues.
